The seedy parts of cities, roadside cafes, beautiful flowers, cemeteries, bits of buildings, graffiti, what I'm eating or cooking, artist's studios.

Likes

Photography, reading, cooking, eating out in smart restaurants, eating out in scruffy restaurants, red wine, cinema, running, Iyengar yoga, dreaming about holidays, pound shops, Blackadder, making something every day look unusual.

Dislikes

Dull weather, dark shadows, smoking, traffic wardens, people who don't say 'thank you' when you hold doors open for them, okra.
